Hearing Aid Styles

Invisible in the canal

These are the smallest size hearing aids available, fitting deep in the ear. Typically lack Bluetooth or wireless capabilities and a high-power output due their size.
Canal

Slightly larger than an IIC but can have Bluetooth or wireless connectivity and a higher power output. These aids can also be rechargeable.
Half / Full Shell

These aids are the largest in the ear aids and can either sit in the bowl of the ear or fill the entire ear. They have the highest in the ear power, come with Bluetooth or wireless connectivity and rechargeable options.
Behind the ear

This aid reminds people of traditional hearing aids. Modern BTEs however, are much smaller, have Bluetooth or wireless technology, the highest power output, rechargeability and come in many colours.
Receiver in the ear

Smaller than BTEs with the sound being transferred to the ear via a wire, resulting in a very discrete look. Wireless connectivity, high-power output, rechargeability and come in many colours. This style of aid is the one most commonly chosen by our clients.

Your care plan

After your hearing aids are fitted, you’re not on your own.

Following your fitting appointment, a follow-up is booked for 3 to 4 weeks time to see how you are adjusting to your new hearing aids. We would also like to see you at least once a year to see how you are getting on and update your settings, but in-between, clients are free to book appointments when they feel one is necessary.

Included with your hearing aids at no extra charge is:

If you change your mind or want to try something else, get your money back or a different model at no cost.

2-5 year warranty

Warranty period depends on the manufacturer and will cover the costs of repairs and even replacements.

Aftercare appointments

Annual retests will ensure your hearing aid settings are up-to-date. If you’re experiencing any issues or think your aids could be performing better, appointments for checks and adjustments have no limit.
