Consultation Fees

Patients are charged a £90 consultation fee, but if an aid is purchased all further appointments at the Winfield or the Nuffield are free of charge during the aid's warranty period (usually two years)

Hearing Aid Prices

Most aids are available with a telecoil for the loop system, and most models can be fitted as behind-the-ear (BTE) or in-the-ear (ITE) styles. ITE aids usually cost about £200 more than the equivalent BTE aid. The price for a BTE aid includes the cost of the earmould, and all new aids come with a good supply of batteries. The quoted prices are inclusive of VAT etc. All the aids below are digital with multi-channel amplifiers for improved sound quality. This is only a selection of the aids available, if you would like a quote for a specific make or model please ask.

These aids are broadly equivalent to those available on the NHS. They are robust and include a telecoil.

Small popular aid, available with a standard earmould or the more discrete receiver-in-the-ear (RITE), depending on the degree of hearing loss. 		£1280 each, £1950 a pair

Very high power aid, for severe and profound losses. 		£1460 each, £2190 a pair
Phonak Audeo Mini V behind-the-ear.
Advanced miniature aid with receiver-in-the-canal technology for mild and moderate losses. Very discrete. 		£1290 each, £2100 a pair
Coselgi Arte in-the-ear
This is a full-sized ITE aid for patients who find smaller or BTE aids difficult to manipulate. It is a high quality instrument with a very clear sound. 		£1380 each, £2075 a pair
Oticon Ino Pro C-I-C in-the-ear.
A miniature aid that fits deep in the ear, virtually invisible in use. A high quality hearing aid. 		£1550 each, £2350 a pair
Phonak Cassia in-the-ear.
This medium sized ITE aid comes with advanced noise reduction facilities, directional microphones, blue-tooth compatibility and an optional remote control 		£1650 each, £2480 a pair

Fully automatic top of the range aid with advanced noise reduction capabilities, directional microphones, blue-tooth compatibility and optional remote control. An exceptional sound quality in all situations. 		£2250 each, £3375 a pair
